Which characters are confirmed?
Victoria, Kragg, Solace and Wolfgang each have a current official Giant Spotlight in the material reviewed on October 5, 2026. These March of Giants characters are confirmed names, rather than guesses based on a trailer silhouette or an older nickname. The spotlights introduce Victoria as the Dream of Victory and Kragg as the Nightmare of Strength. Their presence in official coverage does not establish a complete playable roster for every test.
The Pioneer announcement also names Pandemos as a reward-linked Giant scheduled to arrive on October 12. Separately, Game Director Emilien Lomet identified Elaris as a new Giant for the October 7 Pioneer Playtest in an October 2, 2026 interview. Those statements have different sources and should retain their dates. An event announcement, a developer interview and a character spotlight each establish the information they actually provide.
| Giant | Collected evidence | What it confirms |
|---|---|---|
| Victoria | Current official Giant Spotlight | Name and Dream of Victory identity |
| Kragg | Current official Giant Spotlight | Name and Nightmare of Strength identity |
| Solace | Current official Giant Spotlight | Current official character name |
| Wolfgang | Current official Giant Spotlight | Current official character name |
| Pandemos | Official Pioneer Playtest announcement | Reward-linked arrival scheduled for October 12 |
| Elaris | October 2, 2026 developer interview | New Giant identified for the October 7 test |
02
What does a Giant do?
A Giant is the character you directly control in this free-to-play 4v4 MOBA. The Steam overview describes Giants as having unique abilities and distinct strengths for leading Soldiers. Your character is therefore connected to an army, rather than described only through an isolated duel. The same overview confirms that Giants and Soldiers can be upgraded throughout a match.
Soldiers can be rallied from advancing waves and brought between lanes. The published uses include scouting, gathering resources, attacking enemy Giants, capturing objectives and overwhelming defenses. Battleworks add battlefield deployments such as trenches, bunkers, cavalry and Soldier Drops. These descriptions explain the systems surrounding character choice without supplying a damage comparison or an optimal team composition.
03
Victoria and Kragg: official identities
Victoria's current spotlight uses the identity Dream of Victory, while Kragg's uses Nightmare of Strength. Those names are part of the official character presentation and can be used to identify the two Giants. The collected notes record that each spotlight discusses abilities, but they do not preserve a complete current ability specification. Damage values, cooldowns, upgrade scaling and detailed ability instructions are consequently 待确认.
An identity such as Dream of Victory does not by itself assign a competitive role, a difficulty score or a winning build. Likewise, Nightmare of Strength is not a measured claim that Kragg outranks another Giant. No current match sample or character win-rate dataset was collected for this guide. The useful confirmed answer is who the characters are, with performance conclusions kept separate.
04
Solace and Wolfgang: avoid assumed aliases
Solace and Wolfgang also have current official spotlights, which confirms their present official names. The saved research does not establish a rename from Brother Light to Solace or from Le Poilu to Wolfgang. Similar-looking artwork or comparable abilities would not be an explicit rename announcement. Those proposed alias relationships remain 待确认.
This matters when a player arrives from a September 2025 video or searches an older character name. A historical name can refer to this game without proving the identity of a character in the October 2026 version. The developers say the roster and other systems evolved after the Closed Alpha. Keeping the date beside a character reference prevents an old description from being presented as a current fact.
05
Pandemos and the Pioneer rewards
The October 2026 Pioneer announcement schedules Pandemos to arrive on October 12. It says reaching 1,000 Pioneer Points grants Pioneer status and permanently unlocks this Giant for that test, future playtests and Early Access. The same reward announcement includes a Pioneer Medal and an Early Access Pack. These are the published event conditions, not a claim that every account already owns those rewards.
Pioneer Points come from completed PvP matches, with 100 points for a win and 50 for a loss before the announced boost. Leaving early, playing PvE or playing Custom Games does not contribute to that progress. An eligible Twitch reward or an official Discord booster supplies the same non-stacking 20% increase. The detailed access and reward rules belong to the Pioneer Playtest guide; no publicly verifiable code string was obtained for this character overview.

How to read September 2025 character names
The September 2025 Player Experience article describes a Closed Alpha with 15 Giants. That figure is a historical test count and is not the confirmed total for October 2026. Dated hands-on coverage from 2025 also identifies Brother Light, Goliath, Le Poilu, The Mole and Blacksmith in that older version. Their historical connection to March of Giants is different from confirmation of their current formal names or availability.
Other observed searches contain Baroness, Reaper, Warship and Farren, for which the collected relation is community discussion. These searches were retained as game-related demand, with weaker historical evidence clearly distinguished from a current official roster. They do not justify creating new current profiles, filling in skills or silently changing spellings. Current identity, availability and any mapping to a newer name remain 待确认.
07
Is there a complete roster or a strongest Giant?
A complete current roster count has not been established by the collected material. The table above is an evidence index, so its length is not an official total. Current character statistics, matchup results, competitive tiers and the strongest Giant are also 待确认. An official spotlight confirms a character's presentation, while a ranking requires a different kind of evidence.
No Pioneer matches were played for this article, and the test was still upcoming at the October 5 review date. Older Alpha opinions cannot be promoted into results for the new build simply because the game title is the same. The official vision article specifically describes changes to the roster, itemization, Soldiers, map and interface since that test. Character advice should retain that version boundary instead of supplying an unsupported recommendation.
08
When can you see the current characters in game?
The Pioneer Playtest is announced for October 7–18, 2026, opening at 10 AM EDT on October 7. New players request access through the Steam page and download from their Steam Library after approval. Ubisoft Connect and a Ubisoft Account are required, with participation limited to the countries listed in the announcement. English, French, German and Spanish are the published languages for this test.
Participants from the September 2025 Closed Alpha are automatically included under the current announcement. They do not request access again and should not expect a new Steam access notification when the test opens. That returning-player route does not remove the Ubisoft account requirement. Early Access is separately announced for Summer 2027; a precise date and the complete full-release roster remain 待确认.
